  22. Sounds like either you haven't enabled caller ID on your modem (change your
  23. init string for the port with that modem).  The other possibility is... You
  24. can't answer the phone on the first ring anymore!  Caller ID normally happens
  25. (in my area) between the first and SECOND rings.  Thus I can't answer my phone
  26. till the THIRD ring.
